Research to Prevent Blindness

Donor Advised Funds

Did you know that Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) are the fastest-growing giving method to manage charitable donations? Donor Advised Funds allow donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend donations to not-for-profit organizations from their fund. (Please note that per the Internal Revenue Code, you cannot receive goods, services, or impermissible benefits such as membership benefits as a result of a DAF gift.)

Donor Advised Fund gifts made to Research to Prevent Blindness can be designated in memory or in tribute of someone by adding their name under designation. We are always honored to share in keeping the memory of a loved one alive through important vision research.

Clients of Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable and BNY Mellon can easily initiate fund dispersal through the DAF Direct window on this page. If your DAF is not listed, contact your DAF directly and reference our EIN: 13-1945117. (Please note that RPB cannot set up your DAF for you.)

Thank you for supporting sight-saving research at Research to Prevent Blindness through your Donor Advised Fund!
